1. The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels
Taker keeps the streak alive and retires HBK. I can't see it breaking down any other way. Michaels actually leaves now and no longer will be an active wrestler, but maybe comes back on occasion for special roles in the future. Or they treat this as a lame "retirement" that lasts 6 months and through a loophole he returns after taking time off. I'll fall out of my chair, complete with the wind knocked out of me, if HBK ends the streak.
2. Bret Hart vs. Mr. McMahon
Throw these two in the ring with Bret laying a beating on McMahon for 10 or 15 minutes and everyone will be happy. These two have the best story of anybody on the Wrestlemania card. The fact that the Hitman returns for revenge and likely uses the Sharpshooter will be all the fulfillment we need.
3. WWE Champion Batista vs. John Cena
This could go either way. I have a feeling, however, Batista retains. Frankly, it's what I would like to see also. This time around Batista has a completely different feel in his role as a heel. I like it. I feel it would be a shame to waste his new don't-give-a-f-bomb persona. I see Batista retaining and spawning a rematch or two for the belt.
4. World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho vs. Edge
I honestly don't care. While I'm sure the match will be alright, Edge has been heel too long for me to just suddenly buy into him as a babyface at the biggest stage of them all, let alone support him as one. Jericho (I always liked him) has grown stale over the last two years, so again, this amounts to nothing significant to me. And the "spear" build up? Please.
5. Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Always a show stealer. I'm looking forward to this. It's tough to predict a winner since thus far it's ended in unpredictable fashion. I love that aspect! I'm thinking this could be Kofi Kingston getting the nod. He's been gradually pushed up the ladder (no pun intended) and this could be the way they take him up yet another notch.
6. Unified Tag Team Champion Big Show & The Miz vs. John Morrison & R-Truth
MizShow retains the belts after making Truth and Morrison look fantastic. John Morrison has been too hot a commodity lately for them to keep him in a lengthy run as a tag champ.
7. Triple H vs. Sheamus
This is the time for HHH to begin helping elevate new stars. A Mania win for Sheamus could give him some decent mileage and fuel or bragging rights for the future. There's nothing to gain by having HHH beat him. So I predict Sheamus.
8. Randy Orton vs. Ted DiBiase vs. Cody Rhodes (Triple Threat Match)
I have little to no interest here. This Legacy angle has been one of the most convoluted ever. I predict Ted DiBiase gets the win and the boost into a more serious position.
9. CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio
Behind the MITB match this is the potential show stealer. I see Punk with the win. Mysterio joining the Society creates an ongoing, more compelling situation.
